The Xbox 360 red ring of death is a terrible hardware failure the Xbox 360 console experiences. If you are experiencing the red ring of death there is hope.....you can either send it in to Microsoft and wait 4-6 weeks or try the number of remedies on how to fix it without opening the console. Unfortunately those remedies do horrible damage to your console. Do not use the towel trick, it only lasts for a week and does significant damage to your console. If you do not have warranty you need to take your x-clamps off and put new thermal paste on the GPU and CPU, overheat and tighten bolts.
