I Hate Cold Rainy Days
Well it has been raining for the past couple of days of spring break and it is raining today......i hate the rain and when it's cold and wet. I like the snow, but i just hate rain. I wanted to skate yesterday and the day before but i couldn't because it started to rain, I love skating with Ian even though i am nothing at skating compared to him but it is still fun to do. I usually skate everyday. We get kicked out of the bank all the time and we never cause any problems, but the wonderful people at the church always find something to complain about and call the cops. There is absolutely no where to skate in Coshocton, Ohio being a street skater, even if we didn't get kicked out of the bank it still is boring there. We need a street skate park and it NEEDS TO STOP RAINING!!!!!!!! Well i am gonna stop complaining about my problems now and see what everyone has to say.

Custom-Built Curriculum
Peoria Unified School District 11 was in for a rude awakening in summer of 2003 when they received the results to the (AIMS) Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards when only 20% of the eighth grade students passed the math portion. they needed to find another way to teach the curriculum. They determined the textbooks did not match state standards. So they started building lessons from the ground up. They used grant monies to pay teachers to work Saturdays and summers to develop curriculum materials more close to the state standards. As a result of the new curriculum, on the 2006 AIMS test: 79% of all Peoria students passed the math portion of the exam, the eighth graders nearly improved 300%.
